By Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, 1962
The Arco floor lamp features a sturdy marble base, a curved metal arm and an adjustable reflector. Italian designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni created the Arco lamp in 1962, which has since become a design icon and has appeared in Hollywood films such as Diamonds Are Forever and The Italian Job. Arco reaches more than two meters high and cacthes all eyes even in very large spaces, public or domestic.
The Arco Floor lamp marble foot deploys its telescopic rod to the perfect curve. The small volume of the marble base gives the visual impression of a precarious balance.
